Park Shore Naples Florida Pet Friendly Condos on the Beach
When
looking for a new place to live you probably want to be somewhere that
every member of your family is welcome, which is why the Park Shore
Naples Florida pet friendly condos on the beach that are for sale are
extremely important. For people that do not have a four legged child,
they may not understand the magnitude of the situation, but those that
do are completely aware. Whether they may be “Spot” or “Kitty” they are
as much of the family (or possibly even more) than any living creature
could be. With that in mind, finding a new residence in this wonderful
community where you can look out your window and see the Gulf of Mexico
and its fabulous beaches or relax and feel the serenity of the views of
Venetian Bay, you just may find that piece of “Paradise” that for which
you have always had the dream. It is also nice to know that each of
these “individual neighborhoods” have their own private pool, fitness
facility, meeting room, private beach access, as well as available
automobile parking.
It all starts with a location that is just south of the communities of Naples Cay
and Pelican Bay, with the benefit of having all the boutiques and
restaurants of the Waterside Shops as well as the events that are staged
and produced at Artis-Naples (formerly known as the Naples Philharmonic
Center for the Arts), what could be more ideal? The answer is having
neighbors to the south which include Moorings, Coquina Sands and Olde Naples
including the world famous 5th Avenue South with all the excitement and
opportunities that entails. One should not forget the “private 1 ¼
mile lighted Park Shore Beach Promenade.” For even more local
convenience, The Village on Venetian Bay with the shops and eateries
located there and are suitable for our pets, is across the street and
within walking distance of most of these high-rise buildings (and every
family member could use the exercise). Also available on the east side
of Gulf Shore Boulevard North are a number of boat slips and docks that
are available for rent or purchase. These are made especially available
for those who like to keep their craft closeby for that sailing or
fishing excursion, with easy access to the Gulf from Venetian Bay,
through Moorings Bay and then Doctors Pass.
While
you may think it should be a snap considering there are more than 25
different condominiums along this stretch of sand, there are around 7
associations that do not allow pets at all. It should also be kept in
mind that even in the buildings where our “dear ones” are most welcome,
there will not be an “anything goes” policy as there are going to be
specific limits according to that particular community that will be
enforced. These limitations usually refer to the size of the pet, as
well as the total number allowed, so do not expect to be admitted if you
show up with 4 St. Bernards or a Bengal Tiger in tow.

Now
it should be noted that while these condominiums allow our furry
relatives to live there and enjoy the view from their own home, that
does not mean they can actually walk or run on the sand. Unfortunately
that is a restriction that is still in place, even when on a leash.
However, there are a couple of spots where they can have the chance to
swim in the salt waters of the Gulf, with one being Keewaydin Island, a
sanctuary for recreation and wildlife. Situated just south of Port Royal,
this barrier island, which has no facilities and can only be reached by
boat, allows your pet beach and water access, however they must be on a
leash. Another option would be the Delnor-Wiggins State Recreation
Area, which is located off Gulfshore Drive and Bluebill Avenue (west end
of Immokalee Road) in North Naples. You can’t walk your pets along the
beach, however you can lead them on a leash to the boat and canoe
launch area where they can swim in the shallow water of Water Turkey
Bay. The only off-leash dog beach is situated in southern Lee County
between Bonita Beach and Lover's Key. It is fully recognized by the Lee
County Parks and Recreation Department, however there are no amenities
or facilities at the location. The beach is open daily from dawn to
dusk with all sizes and breeds of dogs being welcome, but there is a
limit of 2 dogs per person and aggressive animals will not be tolerated.
Once
everyone has gotten their exercise, it should be time to have something
to eat, and the area has a number of excellent choices where the whole
“family” is welcome. Starting it all off is the M Waterfront Grille,
right in the Village on Venetian Bay. One of the more famous eateries
in the area, it features a Continental cuisine and an award winning wine
list while providing diners with picturesque views of the Bay. Going a
few blocks east to Tamiami Trail North (US 41), you would find D’Amico & Sons, a very friendly place serving fabulous Italian specialties. Further south on the same street and very casual is Under the Shady Palm Pub. If
you would prefer more of an Olde Naples atmosphere, the 3rd Street
South neighborhood also presents favorable dining options, plus being a
nice place for a stroll with puppies and all. A personal favorite for
both lunch and dinner where the food and service are exceptional is Ridgway Bar & Grill on 13th Avenue South. Just down the street is Cafe Barcelona for meal with a Spanish flair or other Mediterranean specialties. A favorite of many locales is Campiello’s,
where you can enjoy mixing “people watching” with a cocktail and fine
Italian dining. On the other side of 3rd Street South you will find Sea Salt,
a unique experience where “130 different types and flavors of salts
from around the world” are used to season innovative dishes and to put a
personal “touch on Florida’s finest ingredients.” Another waterfront
alternative is The Dock at Crayton Cove,
an open air eatery which provides vistas that include Naples Bay and
the Naples City Dock. Other possible spots if you are “out and about”
are Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill with its large patio area off Vanderbilt Beach Road, as well as Fred’s Diner and Jason’s Deli
on Immokalee Road just east of Sam’s Club. And speaking of food, a
special mention should go to Top Dog Kitchen, a Naples based firm on
Davis Boulevard with its own in-house kitchen that proudly produces
“human grade, 100% pure meat dog treats made in the USA with USDA meats
that are gluten free and grain free.”
At
present there are 18 Park Shore Naples Florida pet friendly condos on
the beach that are on the market with the lowest list price being
$799,000 for a home on the 12th floor in the Terraces at Park Shore,
that has around 1,250 square feet of living area with 2 bedrooms and 2
baths while also having a great view of the Bay and city. There are 2
additional units, each with more than 1,600 square feet, that are for
sale as of today each featuring views of the Gulf. There is a home on
the 6th floor that is being offered completely furnished for $1.10
million, while a similar unit 11 stories higher is being sold
unfurnished for $1.45 million. This building itself offers 24 hour
front desk security and 3 guest suites. Just to the north in the Meridian Club,
that has 4 identical sized homes on each floor, there is a 2nd floor
unit that has over 2,000 square feet which includes 3 bedrooms and 3
baths that has an asking price of $850,000. Further south is the Allegro,
which at the present time has 3 separate units on the market, each of
which has roughly 2,500 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Two of
these homes feature wonderful views of Venetian Bay, with the unit on
the 3rd floor being listed for $899,000, while the residence one floor
up has an asking price of $200,000 more. If you wanted to go up to the
8th floor for your new home, the list price you would be looking at is
$1.350 million for a residence that has a western exposure and a super
view of the Gulf. If you wanted to go even higher, there is a residence
on the 18th floor of the Esplanade Club
that has nearly 1,700 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths that is
on the market for $1.195 million while possessing a southwest exposure
allowing for views of the Gulf as well as the Bay.
For a bit of variety within one building, there are 4 homes being marketed in Aria,
which is one of the newer structures in the community, being less than
10 years old. Two of the homes are on the 6th floor, with one having
nearly 3,600 square feet under air with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and a
list price of $3.05 million. The other is around 500 square feet larger
with 4 bedrooms plus den that is listed for $3.695 million. For those
who like to be higher up, there is a 10th floor residence with close to
3,500 square feet that has 2 bedrooms, den, 3 baths and an asking price
of $3.375 million. Going up a shade, there is a home on the 12th floor
with close to 4,200 square feet with 3 bedrooms, den and 3.5 baths that
is being offered for $3.975 million. For those who are not too keen on
the idea of shopping for furniture, Vistas at Park Shore
has a top floor “penthouse” with more than 1,500 square feet under air
that is being offered furnished for $1.425 million. Another furnished
option is a residence in the Enclave at Park Shore. This home comprises
the entire 26th floor of the building and has in excess of 6,100 square
feet with 4 bedrooms, den, 4.5 baths and a list price of $6.90 million.
Also on the market in Enclave at Park Shore
is the “ultimate” 29th floor “penthouse” which offers one of the “most
coveted, unobstructed views of the Naples beachfront and surrounds,” as
well as a price tag of a cool $11.0 million. One other “penthouse” is
also on the market and it is situated in Provence, a structure that is
centrally located within the community and which features a 2 story
lobby with a mezzanine plus a full-time concierge. The unit here
complete with 360 degree views has more than 6,600 square feet with 4
bedrooms, den and 5.5 baths carries an asking price of just under $7.0
million. The largest of the Park Shore Naples Florida pet friendly
condos on the beach that are for sale has almost 7,800 square feet of
living space including 3 bedrooms, den, 4 full baths and 2 half baths.
This terrace level residence in Regent, a building situated directly
across from The Village, is listed for $9.75 million with extras which
include more than 1,000 square feet of patios, garage spaces for 3 cars
and a private wine “cellar.”
